The Elizabeth Forward Community Chorus is a group of roughly 55 enthusiastic vocalists from the Elizabeth, Pennsylvania area and several surrounding communities. The chorus is community based and has stayed true to it’s roots of welcoming all who have a joy of singing. The chorus began in 1972 as part of the local bicentennial celebration of the town or Elizabeth and continues to this day.

The chorus presents two principal concerts each year. A formal Christmas concert ushers in the joy of the holiday season in early December. Our Junior chorus comprised of third, fourth and fifth graders from local school districts joins us at this event. Many local youth have had their first introduction to the stage during our concerts and have continued to perform throughout their high school and college years.

Our spring concert gives us the opportunity to explore various themes and genres of music. We enjoy the more casual feeling of these concerts and are able to showcase the many talents of our members. Children of our members participate with us in the spring and create special family moments that are cherished for a lifetime. The spring stage is alive with a true sense of community with ages ranging from 4 though 80.

If you have a love of music and are interested in joining us, please reach out to a chorus member or contact us at [email protected].
